Website & Community Rules
Please read these rules before purchasing, downloading or using Eclipse Studios resources.
Eclipse Studios Rules
Eclipse Studios Rules
Welcome to Eclipse Studios. These rules are in place to keep the community organised, respectful, safe, and useful for everyone.
By remaining in the Discord server, using the website, downloading free releases, purchasing scripts, or using Eclipse Studios resources, you agree to follow the rules below.
1. Do Not Resell Eclipse Studios
You are strictly prohibited from reselling Eclipse Studios products.
This applies to paid scripts, free releases, modified versions, rebranded versions, edited versions, and any resource that uses Eclipse Studios code as the main product.
You may not:
- Sell Eclipse Studios products on Tebex
- Sell them through Discord
- Sell them on your own website
- Sell them through marketplaces
- Bundle them into paid server packs
- Charge people for access to our files
- Rename or rebrand our scripts and sell them as your own
- Make small changes and resell them
- Trade our scripts for other scripts or products
- Sell copies to another server owner
- Sell modified versions of our scripts
- Take parts of our code and turn them into a paid product
- Sell free releases that were originally provided by Eclipse Studios
Purchasing or downloading a script gives you permission to use it, not permission to resell it.
Anyone caught reselling Eclipse Studios content may have their licence revoked, support removed, downloads disabled, and account permanently banned.
2. Do Not Redistribute Paid Scripts
Paid Eclipse Studios products are for the authorised customer only unless the product specifically states otherwise.
You may not reupload, share, leak, trade, or give copies to other server owners.
3. No Leaking
Leaking or intentionally distributing Eclipse Studios content is strictly prohibited.
This includes paid scripts, private builds, beta versions, source code, customer-only files, and private resources.
4. No Rebranding and Selling
You may not rename Eclipse Studios products, change the logo or author name, and then sell them as your own product.
Rebranding does not make the script yours.
5. No Selling Modified Versions
You may customise an Eclipse Studios product for your own server, but you may not sell the customised version.
This applies even if you have changed the UI, configuration, features, branding, or code.
6. No Selling Scripts That Use Our Code
Do not copy large parts of Eclipse Studios code into another resource and sell that resource as your own.
7. Do Not Claim Our Scripts as Your Own
You may customise scripts for your own server, but you may not claim original Eclipse Studios work was created entirely by you.
8. Free Releases Cannot Be Resold
A script being free does not give you permission to sell it.
Free releases must not be reuploaded to another store and sold for money.
9. Free Releases Still Have Rules
Free releases may still be subject to licence terms and restrictions.
Do not assume "free" means unrestricted redistribution.
10. Respect Everyone
Treat all members, customers, staff, developers, partners, and visitors with respect.
Harassment, bullying, personal attacks, threats, intimidation, discrimination, or deliberately trying to upset another member is not allowed.
Disagreements are fine, but keep them civil.
11. No Hate Speech
Racism, homophobia, transphobia, sexism, religious hatred, ableism, or any other form of hate speech is not allowed.
Using slurs to target or insult another person can result in immediate moderation action.
12. No Threats or Doxxing
Do not threaten another member, staff member, developer, or customer.
Do not share, request, leak, or threaten to leak private information such as real names, addresses, phone numbers, IP addresses, login information, payment information, private photographs, or other personal data.
Doxxing can result in an immediate permanent ban.
13. No NSFW Content
Do not post pornography, sexual content, gore, graphic violence, or other inappropriate material.
This includes profile pictures, usernames, GIFs, videos, links, attachments, and messages.
14. Keep Content Legal
Do not use Eclipse Studios to promote, organise, or assist with illegal activity.
Do not distribute stolen accounts, stolen payment information, malware, phishing links, account stealers, token grabbers, or other malicious content.
15. No Malware or Harmful Files
Never upload or send files designed to damage another person's computer, steal information, compromise accounts, or interfere with their server.
Any attempt to intentionally distribute malicious software will result in a permanent ban.
16. No Scamming
Scamming members is strictly prohibited.
Do not sell products you do not own, use fake proof of payment, impersonate staff, send fraudulent payment links, or take payment without delivering what was agreed.
Confirmed scammers may be permanently removed.
17. Do Not Impersonate Staff
Do not copy staff usernames, profile pictures, roles, branding, or messages in an attempt to appear like an official Eclipse Studios staff member.
Official staff members will have the correct Discord role.
18. No Advertising Without Permission
Do not advertise your Discord server, FiveM server, Tebex store, website, scripts, services, hosting company, marketplace, or social media without permission.
Sending advertisements through DMs to members you found through Eclipse Studios is also prohibited.
19. No Mass DMs
Do not mass-message members of the server with advertisements, recruitment messages, server invites, scam messages, or repeated unwanted messages.
20. No Spam
Do not spam channels with repeated messages, emojis, GIFs, images, mentions, commands, or links.
21. Do Not Abuse Mentions
Do not repeatedly ping staff, developers, support, @everyone, @here, or large roles unless necessary.
22. Use the Correct Channels
Keep conversations in the appropriate channels.
Use support channels for support and general chat for normal conversations.
23. English in Support Channels
Please use understandable English in support channels unless a staff member is able to assist in another language.
24. Follow Staff Instructions
If a staff member asks you to stop doing something or follow a specific support process, cooperate with them.
25. Do Not Backseat Moderate
If another member breaks a rule, report it to staff rather than starting an argument yourself.
26. No Drama Baiting
Do not intentionally create drama, spread rumours, provoke members, or start arguments for entertainment.
27. Support Tickets Must Be Genuine
Only open a support ticket when you genuinely need assistance.
Do not open tickets to troll, spam, advertise, or waste staff time.
28. One Issue Per Support Ticket
Where possible, keep each ticket focused on one main problem.
29. Explain Your Problem Properly
When asking for support, provide useful information such as script name, version, framework, error messages, screenshots, server console errors, and what you already tried.
30. Do Not Remove Important Error Information
Provide the full relevant error whenever possible.
Do not intentionally hide script names, file names, line numbers, or other information staff need.
31. Support Is Not Instant
Staff may not respond immediately.
Do not repeatedly ping staff because your ticket has not received an instant response.
32. Be Patient During Troubleshooting
Follow the troubleshooting steps you are given and report the results accurately.
33. Supported Frameworks Only
A script is only guaranteed to work with frameworks, dependencies, and versions listed on the product page or documentation.
34. You Are Responsible for Dependencies
You are responsible for installing and starting required dependencies correctly.
35. Maintain Correct Resource Start Order
Some scripts require resources to start in a particular order.
Follow the installation instructions.
36. Do Not Rename Resources Unless Supported
Changing a resource name can break exports, dependencies, callbacks, licensing systems, or integrations.
37. Back Up Your Server
Always create backups before installing or updating scripts.
38. Test Updates Before Production Use
Where possible, test major updates on a development server before applying them to your live server.
39. Modifications Can Affect Support
You may modify editable files, but if your changes cause an issue, staff may require you to test the original version before further support is provided.
40. Do Not Bypass Licensing Systems
Do not attempt to remove licence checks, fake licences, bypass authentication, circumvent escrow, patch licence verification, or share licence credentials.
41. Protect Your Account
You are responsible for keeping your Discord, CFX, Tebex, email, and other accounts secure.
42. Purchases Must Use Accurate Information
Use accurate information when purchasing and do not use fraudulent payment details.
43. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
If you have an issue with a purchase, contact Eclipse Studios before opening a payment dispute.
Fraudulent chargebacks may result in immediate loss of access.
44. Refunds Are Reviewed Individually
Refund eligibility depends on the circumstances, product, delivery status, and applicable law.
45. Do Not Abuse Free Downloads
Do not use bots, scripts, proxies, or automated tools to artificially increase download counts.
46. No Website Exploitation
Do not attempt to exploit or attack the Eclipse Studios website.
This includes SQL injection, XSS, authentication bypass attempts, brute-force attacks, DDoS attacks, or attempts to access another customer's files.
47. Report Security Problems Privately
If you discover a genuine security vulnerability, report it privately rather than posting instructions publicly.
48. Do Not Share Download Links
Private or temporary download links should not be shared with other people.
49. Do Not Abuse Download Systems
Repeated automated downloads or intentional bandwidth abuse may result in access restrictions.
50. Product Descriptions Matter
Before buying a script, read the product description and confirm it supports your framework and dependencies.
51. Features Are Based on the Product Listing
Do not assume a script contains a feature unless it is listed, shown, or confirmed by staff.
52. Updates Are Not Guaranteed Forever
Products may receive fixes and improvements, but no product is guaranteed unlimited development forever unless stated otherwise.
53. Updates May Change Features
Updates may modify layouts, configuration options, integrations, performance, or behaviour.
54. Old Versions May Lose Support
Staff may require you to update to a newer version before troubleshooting an issue.
55. Third-Party Resources Are Outside Our Control
Eclipse Studios is not responsible for problems caused by third-party resources, FiveM updates, hosting providers, external APIs, or dependency changes.
56. Compatibility Cannot Cover Every Resource
It is impossible to guarantee compatibility with every third-party FiveM resource.
57. Custom Development Is Separate
Purchasing a script does not automatically include unlimited custom development.
58. Feature Requests Are Suggestions
Suggestions are welcome, but requesting a feature does not guarantee it will be added.
59. Do Not Demand Release Dates
Do not pressure developers for exact release dates unless one has officially been announced.
60. Beta Releases May Contain Issues
Beta and testing versions may contain bugs.
61. Do Not Fake Bugs for Refunds
Do not intentionally misrepresent issues to try to receive a refund or other benefit.
62. Evidence May Be Requested
Staff may ask for screenshots, recordings, logs, or server console output when investigating an issue.
63. Staff Will Never Ask for Your Password
Never give anyone your Discord password, email password, banking password, or authentication codes.
64. Be Careful With Remote Access
Do not give remote computer access to random members.
65. No Account Selling
Do not sell, trade, or transfer customer access unless explicitly permitted.
66. Ban Evasion Is Not Allowed
If you are banned, do not create alternate accounts to rejoin.
67. Do Not Assist Banned Users With Evasion
Do not intentionally help a banned user regain access through another account.
68. Usernames Must Be Appropriate
Usernames, nicknames, avatars, bios, and statuses must not contain offensive, hateful, explicit, or impersonating content.
69. Do Not Abuse Bots
Do not spam Discord bots, commands, ticket systems, applications, or automated features.
70. No False Reports
Do not knowingly submit false reports against another member.
71. Evidence Must Not Be Edited Misleadingly
Do not alter screenshots or recordings in a way that deliberately changes their meaning.
72. Private Conversations May Still Be Actionable
Serious harassment, scams, threats, leaking, or other major violations through DMs may still result in moderation action when reliable evidence is provided.
73. Staff Decisions Should Be Respected
Staff may use judgement when handling situations that are not covered word-for-word by these rules.
74. Moderation Actions Can Vary
Depending on severity, action may include warnings, timeouts, support restrictions, download restrictions, licence suspension, temporary bans, or permanent bans.
75. Serious Violations May Result in Immediate Removal
Scamming, doxxing, malicious files, deliberate leaking, reselling, serious threats, payment fraud, website attacks, or ban evasion may result in immediate permanent action.
76. Rules Apply Everywhere Connected to Eclipse Studios
These rules may apply to the Discord server, website, support tickets, product download areas, customer support, and official social media.
77. Rules May Be Updated
These rules may be changed when necessary.
Members are responsible for following the latest version shown on the official Eclipse Studios website.
78. Common Sense Applies
Trying to exploit a technicality or loophole in the wording of a rule does not make harmful behaviour acceptable.
79. Enjoy the Community
Eclipse Studios is here to provide useful FiveM resources, help server owners, and build a positive community.
Ask questions, share feedback, help others when you can, and enjoy being part of Eclipse Studios.
